By now, the loopback plug should be positioned properly, and you are free to start typing anything you wish into the screen. At this stage, everything should display well. Otherwise, it means that you missed something in the previous stages. If this is the case, you need to return and find out where the problem is by pressing the correct buttons or selecting another port.
Step 8: Double Echo
Lastly, activate the local echo and link the loopback plug. This way, you will be able to see a double printing of all the characters you type.
